Privacy
Short version: we collect the minimum to run an early-access waitlist, we use it only to contact you about Doorknob, and we don't sell it.
Who runs this
Doorknob (early access project). Doorknob is not a registered company yet. When that changes, this page will say so.
What we collect
- From the waitlist form: your name, email address and the URL of your app, plus the two confirmations you tick (that the app is yours or you may test it, and that we may email you).
- Nothing else on this website. There are no analytics, ads or tracking cookies, and fonts are served from our own domain.
Why we collect it
To tell you when early access opens, send your first scan report, and ask you to verify that the app is yours. That's it.
Scanning
We will not scan any app until its ownership has been verified, for example with a DNS record or a file on the site. Scans are read-only. If a table is exposed, we read only the minimum needed to confirm it and we don't keep that data. Reports are shown only to the verified owner.
Who else processes it
- The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, which processes standard request data (such as IP address) to serve the site.
- Form submissions will be handled by a third-party form service (we plan to use Formspree). We will name it here once it is connected.
What we don't do
We don't sell or rent your data, and we don't share it for advertising.
How long we keep it
Until you ask us to delete it, or until the early-access program ends without a product, whichever comes first.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data at any time by replying to any email we send you. If you are in Brazil (LGPD) or the EU/UK (GDPR), you have these rights under law as well.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update the date above. If the change is meaningful, we'll email the people on the waitlist.
